Does anyone take a chance on Lane Kiffin?

I know he's a gigantic turd, but he did a great job running the Bama offense this year, and might have matured under Saban. Just wondering if he's back in the mix as a HC candidate now?

Great at managing an offense, not so great at managing an entire team.

I dont see how... three head coaching jobs and jack sh*t to show for it. Ruined the two college programs and continued the downward trend in Oakland. A school or pro team would be a fool to give him keys again unless its a coordinator position

I doubt he'd want to leave honestly. He's getting paid well to win and learn from the best in the business.

Give him three years under Saban, and he'll be the hottest name on the market.

You typically have to wait 2-3 years when you got fired from your last HC job.

I honestly think Kiffin will have the last laugh one day. He was in over his head...out kicked his coverage...whatever cliché' you want to use at Oakland and USC. He actually turned UTenn around in the right direction IMO.

He really is quite good as an OC and is quite good at the all important recruiting game. He made a mistake in hiring his father and that caused some problems and lost the team in USC as a result.

I think one day he will get the reins of another Big 5 conference program and be very competitive. Not sure when that happens, but it will happen IMHO.

Is CSU ready to hire another Bama OC? It worked out well last time.

When Kiffin left Tennessee for USC, I am sure that left a bad taste in people's mouths. How committed will he be to his next school? I can only see him going to a top tier school.

If his last name wasn't Kiffin, he'd be selling used carpet out of the back of a pick up truck somewhere & tell his friends he was the CEO of a major corporation.
