Heard on M&M that the past 6-7 head coaches for the Lions have yet to be a head coach anywhere else after.

Dick Jauron coached Buffalo

Eta he was actually interim after Mariucci got fired mid season.

Detroit is a joke. Not sure why many were saying it's the best opening job. Horrible management.

It's the best opening job because it's what Kansas City was last year. The team is loaded with talent. I thought Schwartz helped give them an attitude and an edge but he clearly lacked any XO strategies. A good head coach could have the Lions in the playoffs next year.

Umm, because they have talent all over the field?

Management has always been suspect but the team itself is very promising.

Possibly the worst location in football. I mean who would want to live in or around Detroit?

Ever been "around" Detroit...? I'll fill you in, there's nothing wrong with living there.

Yep. Detroit is like a donut basically. Nice areas all the way around it, but the middle is run down and deserted.

If the lions get some other receivers that are worth a damn they will be a force in the next few years

Now we get to see if a bad coach can get them into the playoffs.
