Dooley isn't garbage. He wasn't a good fit at Tennessee but he impressed me at Tech. Tennessee isn't an easy job and he obviously wasn't ready for it but I feel like he could do well at a place like FAU.

Dooley would not get over kiffen.. Kiffen may turn it down but if he wants it surely he gets it over Dooley

I agree with srbtiger. Tennessee wasn't a good fit for Dooley, but he's a good coach I actually think FAU is beneath him. I think he would do well st aplacelime Cincy.

Dooley did well at Tech, and served as athletic director as well.

You can pick at the carcass of Florida recruiting leftovers for talent, just like Texas and California. You're not pulling the big fish, but you can feed yourself with enough work.
Hiring Dooley would definitely be a money thing, he'd come running just for a chance to be HC again...
