He can coach QBs. He does well with what he has at Miss St. Honeslty, i don't know if his offense would fit the Oregon style people there seem to prefer. If he went he would definitely need some time to implement his offense and get recruits.

Speaking of recruits, he isn't an amazing recruiter, and i am not sure if he is familiar with the area and its recruits.

Overall, he would likely get 8 or more wins a season, but i dont think he would get you to a championship. I would say a new year's six bowl is possible under him, but that's the most i would anticipate.

He'd need a hell of a lot of help recruiting.

Oregon is a bigger brand than MSU, but Mississippi has much better built in talent.

That would be a home run hire. Has Oregon cooled on PJ Fleck?

He's a decent recruiter, but he's not elite.

He'd be a great X and O coach and a good cultural fit though IMO. Oregon would just need to spend some money on top assistants who are elite recruiters as well.

It was his offense & QB development that made Urban Myers so successful at Florida, which is how he got the Moo St. job. A plus would be that he would bring the #2 hottest wife in the SEC with him. I presume anyway.

Jen Bielema is the undisputed #1 on this list. We all knwo that.

You'd put Mullen's wife over Muschamp's? Crazy talk.

I'd even put Sumlin's wife and Mark Stoops' wife above Mullen's.

If you're into crazy, you could make a case for Gus' lady.

When Mullen has had talent they have been very good. I wanted to see LSU give him a look.

I don't think a Pac 10 championship would be out of the question. But, I don't think he'd elevate the program back to perennial conference favorites.

Look at his record. Pretty good when you consider the division he coaches in. Excellent QB coach. He won't out scheme anyone, tho.

Damn good offensive coach but if I were Oregon I would lean towards fleck. In that area u need a fearless recruiter with high energy. Idk if Mullen is the answer.

He can coach his arse off, but he would need recruiters from the west coast to bring in talent. MS has a bunch of underrated talent, and he's poached a few good ones from LA, but he's not an elite recruiter. He's losing a lot of the in state battles for elite guys since Freeze got there. Oregon has tons of money and is one of the most recognizable brands, but you still have to somehow convince kids to move a couple thousand miles away from home. At State, he's lived off of developing the talent LSU and Bama passed on in this region.

I think sirmon would have the energy and he's a west coast guy. Mullen can get the offensive talent.
