Take your criticism like you have a backbone. Im taking mine for sure, many ranters verified my source so I posted exactly what information I had been told. Source was and will always be a good personal friend and golfing buddy. I am more disappointed than shocked at the moment but I will continue to be a loyal LSU fan and cheer for our great university regardless.

I think you and Random had good info but the deal stalled and Alleva was forced to make a decision on the spot and acted in the best interest of the program. The negative press was getting out of hand.

From what you know, does it appear that LSU was outbid or that Fisher never intended on coming and used us to squeeze FSU? Did Fisher have a change of heart?

Deal fell through due to FSU counter offer and the only other reasoning I could get from my source was that the ESPN coverage and blasting us publicly couldnt be overcome for Jimbo.
We also did consider Chip Kelly as someone here stated his agent did contact LSU but we had no interest for waiting until after the NFL season due to trying to salvage the incoming recruiting class

It sucks man, integrity is important to me, hated that Im grouped in with the trolls but it is what it is, I just wish DALSU would come on and take his crow also

My source told me last Sunday that no decisions would be made until after the AtM game. He rides the team plane to games when he so chooses. He was right.

Gutless wonder Joe Alleva strikes again. He created the situation by his inaction for 3 weeks. At this point the least he could do to salvage it is sit on it overnight and take emotion of of the picture instead of making an announcement 10 minutes after the game.
