I know the program at UL Lafayette. It is a dumpster fire or maybe just a dumpster. If he can win there, I think he can win at a lot of places.

I know our mistakes with Archer and Hallman, but this might turn out better. I think he may be a bettet offensive mind than average division 1 fbs coach/ oc. Not sure if he is ready for primetime though.

He would be one of my top choices for sure. Justin Fuente would be another.

it would be interesting to see what hud can do here, he has turned Lafayette into a great program. with the recruits Louisiana puts out, I think he can do also do a great job here. jmo

He's a good fit right where he's at.

Hell to the no. I don't want a guy from a small conference. We did very well with our last two coaches, who came from second tier schools in power conferences. I imagine we'll do the same next time around.

Has he even won that whateverconference ULLLL is in? One of his best teams barely beat a medicore tulane team last yr. Other than barely losing 2 yrs ago to a weak gator team, every other big time school has taken his teams to the cleaners, as in multiple 50+ point losses. He's doing well against average at best competition. He would not even be considered, in my humble opinion.

If Hudspeth, then why not Larry Fedora as well. His Southern Miss teams blew people up offensively, and he now has major D-I coaching experience.

No! The guy was pulling Patrinos before Patrino. He and his sketchy coaching staff would be a huge liability to a major program. Plus he's a buffoon.

No. For a school located in Louisiana his recruiting isn't very good. He doesn't recruit New Orleans very well, which is a requirement for a coach at LSU

He may or may not be a good coach, but if LSU hired him the meltdown would surely be entertaining.

He banged a student/cheerleader while he was a coach..and married. He ain't moving straight from ULL to a top program.

Hud is a good recruiter and offensive coach. I would not be sad if LSU hired him.

How good of a recruiter is he? The 2014 class was one of the deepest ever in Louisiana and Hud only managed to sign nine recruits out of Louisiana. Not good.

He'd be okay I guess but I think he'd be a great fit at K State when Snyder retires.
