For the flight trackers out there, Florida State uses Baer Air as their charter service, they're based out of Melbourne Intl Airport.

Oh, he may be. But, it seems an unusual move, to say the least. And the reasons are pretty clear - LSU doesn't represent a significantly higher ceiling for pay, isn't a big enough upgrade in conference stature - at least not school to school - sure, going from Duke or Virginia to LSU or Auburn would be a big step up - but not from FSU to either - it would be rightfully considered a lateral move.
There would have to be some significant push/pull factors that have little to do with "football" or "money" to drive such a change. At this point, I just don't see it. Occam's Razor and all that - this was a ploy for a pay raise from FSU and it worked.
So, we'll move down the list and get Herman/Klingsbury/Fuentes (if we're lucky). And may G-d have mercy on us all.

I know this is off topic but the weirdest thing about this thread tonight is the fact that we haven't heard back from Random since this morning even though he was online a little while ago. You would think with all the uncertainty he would chime in. Can't decide if that's a good sign or bad...

See that's what I mean. He has to be reading all of this but him not responding after being so sure it was a done deal is weird. I totally trust him after he called the Cameron hire wayyy in advance. That's why I wish he would post and update us.

It's not weird. Random gave us what he could at the time. Once the leaks reach ESPN, which almost happened today, he should keep quiet unless something has dramatically changed. The powers that be need to keep this out of the spotlight if legit.
If this was a pure money play, "Jimbo to LSU?" would be dominating ESPN headlines right now to put the heat on FSU to double down on Jimbo, like Saban to Texas. They are trying to avoid that. Random's silence is actually reassuring to me.
