Confirmed. Jimbo would retain Aranda. *ETA*

Just got the text...
Me: "You said yesterday that one thing that might effect the process would be Jimbo's unwillingness to retain Aranda, what's the chances of that?"
Money: "LSU is prepared to meet the figure required to lock in Jimbo. That's Jimbo's MAIN stipulation. He's just going to bat for "his guys", he would 100% retain Aranda if LSU matched his 'number'."
ETA: nothing "signable" has been issued to Jimbo's camp. So LSU hasn't issued a contract nor have they offered a figure. Subsequently, Jimbo hasn't signed anything or accepted terms. Process is the infant stage.

If so, I am happy. Fisher is a good man, and a qualified offensive mind. We have got to do something about the offense; his hiring would attract quarterbacks and receivers to LSU.

i'm all confused man.
you have achieved the mantle of liason between the fan base and the power brokers and communicate some of the inner workings of the power guys to us riff raff.
I know you're well thought of on here but I just struggle with the power guys allowing this.
it's like little kids wanting to know what their Christmas present is going to be and their uncle giving them updates. the question becomes....is the uncle fricking with us?
