So if Les is toast after 2016 who do you see on the horizon?...I don't think we make a run for Jimbo again. Possibly someone from the NFL....what say you

If we were smart, we'd hire Herman. But who knows how smart or bold our AD really is.

Give it a rest for awhile...

We are just getting use to our New Old Coaches again.

Who knows what the landscape will look like after next year?

Well... The way the rant is into trends, the most logical choice is going to be Kliff Kingsbury.

Average coach at a below average program playing LSU (and losing) in a bowl game at a university who we haven't even played a handful of times, 2 seasons before taking over as HC

Miles can pull a stoops and reenergize Lsu with either a OC move and/or a public statement saying he will not be involved in calling the offense. He's a good ceo can coach the oline and TE's and focus on ST's where he actually got involved and helped them improve towards the back end of the season. If he does this I still have faith he can win the sec again and make a playoff run. If that happens the next 2-3 years and he retires 3 sec titles and 1-2 nattys is one heck of a run. Maybe frank as OC and Ed to recruiting cord? Why not try a different approach instead of bringing OC's in which hasn't really worked.

LSU should go after Chip Kelly

but I'm sure they aren't smart enough to pull that off.

So it will likely be the next big thing flavor of the month name that will likely fizzle out.

Let's dig up the bones of Bear Bryant and pay those gumps back for taking that goat Saban from us. It's the coordinators who matter anyway and I'm sure ol skeleton bear would find better ones that that darn Miles. Oh wait, Saban left on his own. Anyway, I'm sure he wanted to come back after he tanked in the NFL but that loser Miles refused to step down and had the audacity to win a NC with saban's recruits! Oh Saban-slobber, slobber, slobber-you are so great. If we could only get a guy who worked as your coordinator I'm sure your divinity would follow.

I agree, it should have been done this season, not next season

I'm sure you have been keeping up with the recent LSU football coaching events/non-events, so you already know the answer to the smart and bold question about Alleva.

Les's record at LSU is fine. But the last 2 or 3 years is piss poor! I for one hoped Les would be gone after this season!

Don't see a change. Next years team is so talented that Miles can't even screw it up completely. He'll win 9 or 10 games that will keep the Miles lovers adoring him from afar while the rest of us can only Dream of the Championship that could have been with a Decent Head Coach, and the Miles lovers will not realize that yet another great get of talent has once again been wasted at LSU as they become future NFL Stars

Pretty much

It stinks because the longer you wait the more you miss out on.

We really could have quite a run with this team where it's at now and a great coach

I'd be willing to bet every penny that I have access to that the ad is a hell of a lot smarter than you.....and fwiw I don't think he is that smart myself. Lol. That tells u what I think of you.

My crystal ball says LSU gets humiliated by Texas Tech in our bowl game. At the same time, Chip Kelly gets forced out in Philadelphia. Alleva grows a pair. Calls are made. Bang! Chip Kelly is introducing his new staff at the Recruiting Bash on signing day.

A brother can dream, can't he?

So 9-10 wins is with next year's talent isn't screwing it up??? The only thing we will lack next year is a good HC and Middle Linebacker. Both a crucial.
