Iraqi Defense Minister would've been an upgrade, so I'm fine with this. Let's see how it plays out.

Don't know much about him, do ya? LINK
He brings NFL experience and familiarity with P12 offenses, as well as a proven ability to develop talent. Good hire!

Sad part about this is that you guys still have Kiffin as HC.

We still need an OC, for sure. If we get a good one that calls plays instead of Kiffin, it's a great day in Illium.

thought it was weird how he got dumped by the cards after helping them reach the super bowl.

only other contribution to this thread is that my 7th grade social studies teacher was convinced that a ghost named clancy was haunting our classroom.

$20 bucks say Orgeron does not even know about the hire yet and is wasted at some strip club in LA with a stack of 1's down some poor lost souls g-string.

O is a great recruiter, and a great D line coach.
That's his skill set. Coordinators/Head Coaches
ought to be a touch more cerebral, and less cerebrally touched.

Does this mean USC will now get to pitch "THE ATTACK 3-4" like Cal tried to do?

I know that during his last official to USC recently, Eddie Vanderdoes had a good conversation with Pendergast, who he's known for some time now. Pendergast gave him the lowdown on how he sees EVD playing the 3 technique and 5 technique in his system.
