Can you think of any reason for Malzahn to stay at Auburn over Texas?

Reasons for him to go to Texas.

1.Wouldn't have to recruit against Saban for local instate recruits.

2.Much easier path to the champonship

3.Texas has more money.

4.He has to know he got lucky this year with the Hail Mary and Alabama missing 4 FGs, stuff like that isn't gonna happen every year.

Reasons for him to stay at Auburn over Texas

1.?

Not saying Auburn is a bad job at all, but just can't think of any advantages that they have over Texas, especially with Saban coaching in the same state. *

1. About to play for a national championship. Which neither Texas nor Bama are.

2. Saban is Gus' bitch.

1.He wouldn't go til after the national championship game.

2.Being 1 and 0 against someone because the other team missed 4 FGs =/= someone being your bitch.

Crimson Tide fans realizing that keeping Saban was only half the job. Now they've got to find a way to offload Gus.

Alabama's kicking game is an Achilles' heel that has cost them multiple games over the years. If Gus has an offense that will put up those kinds of points regularly, offensive kids are going to choose him over Nick with regularity.

Perhaps Gus will relish the head to heads with Nick.

No legit reason in the thread so far why he would stay at Auburn over Texas...

Bama has lost two games cause of the same FG kicker, wouldn't say it's an Achilles heel but we definitely need a better kicker than Cade Foster.

Some people prefer a challenge.
Some people are loyal.

It's been the primary reason Alabama has lost games in recent memory. I think calling it an Achilles heel is fair.

Doubt Saban coaching the rival team in the same state would be a reason for him to want to stay.

Also with his coaching track record he doesn't seem to loyal, he stayed at his last job for one year.

Dude, you are such a homer with no common sense. You could state all those exact reasons for Saban going to Texas.

And don't be a bitch about the 4 missed FGs. That loss is solely on Saban. He fricking sucked that game and that's all there is to it.

Pretty much everyone lists Alabama as being a top 5 college job, never seen Auburn listed as a top 5 job in college football.

Auburn has been a better program than Texas over the last 30 years.

All the money thats not under the Vatican can't buy everything.
