So this guy turns down a chance to coach at the defending national champion who is playing for another one this year, where he would return his All conference QB, 4 of 5 lineman, his top 2 WRs, and his top 3 rushers (and where he'd likely make more money) in order to go coach with Ed freaking O?

I think it would have more to do with having complete freedom and not wanting to be yelled at like a school boy bitch during practice and in games if one play call goes wrong

Reality is also the fact that alot of assistant coaches would MUCH rather work in a talent-rich program, make a shite-ton of money under a guy like O than a megalomaniac midget who shows his arse repeatedly on camera and can't enjoy life...and then have to live...there.

With them.

The TV/ radio coachspeak will always be respect and blah blah blah...but the truth is most coaches would rather Saban and Bama take a flying frick at a rolling donut.

Canada wants a P5 head coaching gig and LSU offers the best chance of reaching that goal. Why? Canada knows Coach O won't last and if Canada can get the LSU offense to score 2 TD's minimum vs Bama, he has the best shot of becoming the new HC at LSU.

Chances Alabama was one of those schools?

Damn the Bama obsession is real. Y'all can't even be happy about your new OC unless Bama wanted him too.

I really don't see why this matters. LSU fans want so bad for him to choose us over Bama. Who cares? Really, who cares? Saban still owns us

Coaches such as? Can you give us an example or two?

People that still defend LSU and knock Saban aren't smart. Don't go there bro. It's time to admit that Saban owns LSU. He built LSU and now destroyed it and could do the same to Bama if he went to NFL and somewhere like Tennessee in 2 years. It is what it is. LSU is screwed until he leaves. Our fanbase can say go be a Bama fan, etc. Truth is, I hate Bama and the fact Saban ended up there; but the facts are the facts. The guy is possibly the best ever and unless our admins decide to make a power play, it will go on

Go back to your "trailer house" and fry something, kick the dog, and say hello to your wife/sister.

Reality is

You landed a good OC. Be happy with that, but don't try to make it better by convincing yourselves he choose you over some specific other school when you don't even know if he was a candidate there, much less got an offer. It makes you look desperate clinging to anything that resembles a "win" against Bama.

You must be a drooling moron. We are happy. Who here is a fan of a rival school cluttering up this thread with their mindless blathering?

Pick three. Impressive no matter which way you slice it.

A lot of smoke out there that he turned down Bama 3 times in the past 48 hours.

Indiana 3%
Rutger 1%
