Per Browns official tweet. What do we think of this?

that guy has like 1000 lives. I swear in the NFL if you are "in the system" as a failed HC, OC, or DC you will always have a job.

Another typical move by the browns.. how Williams keeps getting these jobs is amazing

To be fair, Williams has had some at least fairly good defenses without really good players. But he was clearly the architect of the bounty system the Saints had, so there is that.

Rams had a solid D under him.

Where exactly has he failed? He's a good coordinator that got railroaded by Goodell and ratted to save his arse.

He can coach.

Not a bad move by the Browns. Let's see if they give him more than 1 year.

As a Browns fan I like this hire. He runs a 4-3 which probably means we'll be taking Garrett with the 1st pick. He's always had solid defenses for the most part. Hopefully he'll get more than 1 year. I'm happy

He won a Super Bowl with the Saints and coached in one for the Titans. And frick Bountygate. That was nothing but Goodell covering his arse for brain injuries. As a Saints fan, I would rather root for the bad guys that win then for the loveable losers that really try hard.

I'm a skins fan and he ran our D for awhile like ten years ago, did a great job for the most part. If I were a browns fan I'd feel pretty good about the move.
