1. Most "experts" are predicting Big 12 will decide not to decide and kick the can down the road.

2. Especially if Houston isn't announced today look for a surge in "Herman to LSU.....Herman to Texas..... Herman to USC.....Herman to ND.....Herman to NFL" rumors in the next 48 hours.

Why don't y'all get ahead of the game and start the rumor, "Jimbo to LSU and Herman to FSU. Package deal by Sexton/Armstrong"?

I thought it was going to be no from Texas, OU, and OSU, which would kill it. Did something change? Why would they kick the can down the road?

TCU...got ya. Had those mixed up. So if UT wants Herman why would they make it more appealing to stay at Houston?

Texas probably doesn't care if Houston is in Big12 in the context of Herman.

If Texas wants Herman, Texas will get Herman, regardless if Houston is in the Big12 or not.

FWIW, I do not think Texas will fire CS this year... He will get one more season.

Oklahoma doesn't want expansion they have already made that known. Now that Texas wants Herman they are going to vote no as well so they can get him.

I don't know that a B12 invite to Houston really does much for Herman. I think if Texas wants him, they get him. I think if Texas doesn't pursue and LSU does, he comes to LSU. I don't think he stays at Houston over LSU or UT.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. If he gets his raise, newer facilities, in the big12, and recruiting steadily improves he could possibly stay. Those three things could all happen almost immediately after acceptance to the big12. I would hope he would come to LSU over UH. I just hope it's a no so it's a non issue.

Well... sort of.

They were vehemently for it (like, threatening to leave the conference if no expansion) before they were against it (once they wised up, they blamed Texas for their lack of mental acuity).

David Boren, the OU president, is a turd. I expect him to lose his job soon.
