You mean that amazing team who was relocated to Baltimore?

And didn't take Belichek with them. So he might actually be correct this time

It's OK, with the last few Les Miles years and the Saints we should all be drunk....

This board is amusing. O was not my first choice but is it impossible to imagine that maybe he has grown as a coach over the last decade? Maybe he has learned a lot from two interim stints? Not saying he's Pete Carroll or coach hoodie up in New England, but I'll bet he's not the same coach he was 12 years ago either.

It doesn't seem like a crazy thought to think he will be at least pretty decent especially if he can surround himself with good coaches and lets them coach. Of course that's a necessity for any coach.

Hate to admit it, but true. Bobby's been on Les' arse but particularly since the 1/9/12 disaster. He might have not been the most professional in the after game press conference, but I certainly could not agree with the essence of what he said. Funny thing, one of the defensive players on that edition of the team delivered my large screen TV a few months ago. We talked about that night and about Miles. He had nothing good to say about either, and actually measured his words in what he said to me.

Understood. I'm just frustrated with the boards overall attitude and negativity. I'm disappointed too about how we got here, more than O being the choice.

I hate that people fail to realize that coaches can improve and learn from their experiences. Not saying O will be great, but it's unfair to assume he's the same coach now as he was 12 years ago

Look at saban, he's a better a coach now than he was 2000-2004. Largely bc of his nfl failure. Coaches are human and can improve with experience. It's not impossible despite what the attitude here seems to be

To be fair I think you kind of took what he said out of context

He was comparing orgeron to belichek because BB failed his first few attempts at coaching
