This piece certainly makes it sound like Monken is very happy to be working with Koetter, so I imagine that's a no go.

The more I read about Matt Canada, the more I like. I know that they didn't coach together at Wisky, but Canada's slow, hard, and steady rise through the ranks reminds me of Aranda's story.

Reading between the lines, it's going to be Lane barring a head coaching gig. Now since we're OC dependent, I think that should show he's not quite the right guy because of how short term the hire will be.
