I was pressing Chicken last year to launch an SEC Rant podcast. I think that could generate a great audience.

How long have you been doing it? How many episodes?
And I've really been thinking hard lately about an SEC Rant themed podcast, as I mentioned. Tigerdroppings/SEC Rant is great and all, but it is desperately missing more content, whether that be written or in audio form.
With the posts on that board, it wouldn't be hard to find topics and develop an audience in the early stages, and then it could transition into something else as it grows and is actually successful.

It's hard to know what will happen. Staff hires, recruiting, etc. I think we'll be good next year.
I still think it won't end well, and I'm one of the biggest positigers around.

i have a website, soundlcoud, and equipment ready to go. i even got a setup where i can travel to people and do an in-person thing. i just need to work out kinks on recording skype (But i think i have that covered)

the setup i have cost about 400-ish. i didn't spend a ton on high end stuff. got mics, a mixer, head phones, cables, etc. luckily audacity is free
i also only have a 2-channel mixer for now but it's portable and i can literally go set up shop with a laptop and do a podcast on the road
