Well hell ,if Patterson wants some profit off some big companies to match his Oil we can throw in Wal-Mart, Tyson or JB Hunt. He can pick.

I guess if his hobby is futures in petroleum bases entities, the University sits on something called the Fayetteville shale, I'm sure some rich old booster can give him a few shares on this non renewable resource that many believe to be the next big thing, possibly making Oil a thing of the past.

If this is true, very solid hire!

And your AD is one of the best in the biz to pull that off after the whole BP fiasco.

I actually think y'all got upgraded with Patt from BP.

Kudos to the hogs.

Yeah, he is just going to walk away from all that and hand it off to someone else to go rebuild a program.

We don't need a rebuild. Players are there.

You know - it's entirely possible that Patterson is tired of having problem filling up that stadium at TCU, in spite of how small it is. DFW is a huge metropolis with tons of people, but they can't fill up that stadium consistently?

It's been sold out every game this year except the Iowa State game when the idiots at the university scheduled Fall Break on the same weekend as the game. Standing room only crowd was large in the Grambling, Texas Tech and Kansas State games.

Sold out every game except Wyoming in 2010, again the reason it didn't sell out was the idiots who put Fall Break on that weekend.

Last 2 games in 2009 were sellouts, including the still-standing record set against Utah that year.

Attendance has gotten better, and is no longer an issue. Seats have been filled all year this year.

Except for those that didn't sell out.

How many does it seat?

TCU isn't going to let patterson get out of dallas.

patterson will be finding a brief case full of money behind his azalea bush if need be.
