I'm skeptical that Peterson translates to the SEC - he's not connected in any way to recruit in the south and he's going from a cupcake schedule to the toughest league in the country.

The guy can coach and he can develop players. If we ever lost Miles, he would be my pick.

I think Arkansas' best hire would have been Art Briles because of his ties to recruiting in Texas. I don't know if he was a candidate or even considered it but that's just my 2 cents.

Doesn't he have a sick daughter who gets treatment in Arkansas? I read that somewhere on here, and I have no idea if it is true or not.

not sure what to think as Boise state HCs have not had a strong history post boise

Also Peterson essentially walked into a perfect situation. Boise was a known powerhouse mid major that could recruit itself enough to win out the WAC.
However kudos to Long and Arky for pulling him when many programs tried and failed.
