obviously the Admins aren't going back and forth daily on their choice, right? RIGHT?
2 months to prepare, I HAVE to believe they know their guy and are floating bad info intentionally.
If not, we never had a chance anyway and the next hire will for AD.
while were at it..how/why did LSU hire him after the Duke lacrosse debacle?

No. We really know nothing. We have no clue about Jimbo. It is quite possible, if not likely, that boosters and media are getting their information from this board.
LSU has had two months to prepare for this hire. Surely they are not as whelm driven as this board. Surely.

I honestly believe that there was no plan to do an extensive search until after Saturday. I think earlier in the season after O started winning and the fan base started losing their minds, Alleva was sold on O.
I want to believe otherwise, but I just don't. I think right now they're scrambling to get something done. I hate to say it, but that's what I believe.
And I'm still not completely writing O off. If we win big this Thursday, I'm scared to death of what could happen.

Personal opinion, no sources: Orgeron was only getting the job if it was obvious he was undoubtedly the choice. That doesn't seem to be the case. He did well enough to keep his name in the discussion, but not well enough to get the job. He is/was a great interim coach. He has kept the in-season focus on the team and not the coaching search, which has allowed the administration the freedom to find the guy.
Also my personal opinion: that guy is Herman.
