Hypothetically speaking, who would you rather have?

Lane comes with drama just because of past

Or

Major Applewhite?

I'd rather have Tee Martin or Matt CaNada over both of them.

Lane Kiffin all day.

Taking Kiffin not only improves LSU, it also hurts Alabama.

(Sark would likely take over for them, but Lane is a much better offensive mind than that drunk fool)

Kiffin is proven and have a Natty
Major has failed at Bama and at UT as OC.

Saban is ready for Kiffin to move on. The big question is how good is Kiffin without Saban's boot on his throat.

I'll take Kiffin with Nick Saban's shoe inserts. Kiffin would be like 6'7 towering over the LSU offense.

I've not been shy with my underwhelming opinion of Kiffin, but Applewhite is much, much worse.

The thing about OCs is that when you are good, you become a HC quickly. Mid-majors need offensive minded coaches so they scoop up anyone halfway decent at building an offense. Applewhite is the most commonly known name in the country as an OC, and yet he's been one for 10 years now. He's simply not good at his job.

Applewhite. Lane Kiffen may be a good coach, but he is one of the scummiest, low integrity people in college football. He is not the kind of person I want around my football program.

I'm still pulling for the all Louisiana homegrown heroes Cajun Allstar coaching staff.

And the LSU nWo plan, too.

Kiffin I guess, although without Saban keeping him in line I wonder about his maturity.
