Cant see him coaching in San Fran long term. Would love to see his offense with the athletes that we recruit. Would definitely be a lot more exciting to watch.

Our issue is timing...We need to secure a coach before Dec 12th to secure quality recruits before the dead period. We lose a ton of talent and leadership at the end of the season. We can't afford to go backwards on the recruiting front

He was on my mind too until he let his quarterback start taking a knee during the National Anthem.

He hasn't been fired yet.

Not going to be fired this year eaither. A couple NFL reporters have said he has no desire to return college.

Supposedly Chip Kelly doesn't like to recruit and that's why he doesn't want to return to the college game.

No. He's coach of the San Francisco 49ers, he has publicly stated he's not looking around.

The chip Kelly idea is unbelievable, but not at all realistic. Even if he was looking to go back to college, he may not consider LSU.

Niners are not firing a coach for the 3rd season in a row, he would have to leave on his own and by all accounts he hates recruiting and dealing with boosters.

This is bullshite. A mediocre head coach sets us back MUCH, MUCH further than a down recruiting year.

If our choices are Fedora named as head coach next weekend to keep in tact our recruiting class or Chip Kelly named as head coach in January and we lose the majority of our recruiting class, I'm taking Kelly every single time.
