33 year old OC at Notre Dame. He has a strong coaching pedigree as does his father.

Worth a look.

Didn't he just get to ND this year?

I want LSU to hire an OC who doesn't coach under an HC who has a history of successful offenses.

I want the new OC to have achieved in his own.

And it's Sanford

If LSU can't hire a coach from FSU, they certainly won't be able to from Notre Dame.

Especially considering the circumstances surrounding Miles

We're gonna have to go mid-major or a major program vet in the twilight of his career.

I think mid major is the way to go.

But I think Miles hires a buddy from the past in the end.

Sanford Jr. isn't leaving ND until he's a HC.

why would he leave ND to take the same position at LSU?

Tyson Helton. Coached Joe Webb at UAB and Brandon Doughty at WKU.

Pruitt left the same position at FSU to go to UGA

He's not at the top of my list, but he could go if the money is right. He knows how to utilize dual threats and the running game with his time at Stanford.

Wasn't UGA about to fire him? Doesn't he have the rep of being a guy hard to get along with? Seems like Pruitt

You almost never see coordinators make a lateral move unless its to reunite with a coach or get closer to home. And LSU fans don't want to hear this but ND to LSU is actually a slight drop-off not lateral

What does that have to do with what I said? He took a lateral (or I guess slightly step down) to go to UGA for the same position.

It's a slight drop off yes, but he'd be paid a lot to come here, and I feel like Notre Dame would just get another guy and not worry about it same way FSU got another guy (actually promoted the LB coach) and let Pruitt walk off after one year.
