Caldwell was a good hire. He couldn't have known she was gonna get knocked up and decide to eat bon bons on the couch instead of recruit anyone.
Also, Jones isn't at fault for the basketball debacle. He was a .500 coach when we hired him because "it was his turn." Same deal as O. Basketball lies at the feet of Alleva, Brown and Temple.

Fired the coach two and a half months ago. Wasn't going to hold a search till the Florida loss. Got his feelings hurt when Herman wanted to talk to Texas. Refused to close the deal. Rushed to offer the job to a guy no other school wanted.

I'll agree on caldwell. Similar to Trent. Good coming in but turned to shite. Jones should have never been hired. Hence Alleva getting played by Jones and daddy dale.

You forgot gave the d-line coach the HC job largely in part because he was promised a particular name would be hired as OC who is most likely not coming to LSU.
I will say that while I don't necessarily put the Jones/Caldwell hires entirely on Alleva, he still gets a big chunk of the blame for them both still being employed at LSU and for the ridiculous contract Caldwell got. She's making almost $1 million/season.
