all of this talk about coach O needing to win out to keep the job is hooey

some say 1 loss would keep him.
there may not be any coach in America that can come in and go undefeated over that 5 game stretch we face. if this team plays up to it's ability and their loss(es) are close and not related to poor play I think the man deserves a 4 year contract.
I think he can do it!

O has to overachieve to put himself in the running as a "legitimate" candidate.
Unfortunately, he does not deserve the LSU job...yet. He's got to do something "special" to even get consideration IMO.
I don't make the final decision, but in my opinion it's an easy call...
Win the SEC, job is his. Don't win the SEC, job will not and should not be his. All the back-and/forth debate is really moot because the decision is that simple and will be made for us on the field.
