Apparently he recently underwent cancer treatment(s). Uncertain if health related.

Good ad though his pr stunt with rr after he tried to get the uscjr job last year was cheesy.

Yall see, that's the way it's supposed to be done. Bama already did their homework and when it's time for a new Athletic Director, the new guy is hired and ready to go.

No political posturing, no hiring unqualified individuals from within, no hassles and BS.

Just ID your guy and go after him.

Watch what happens when it's time to replace Alleva?
(Hopefully that will not be too far away)

It will be a dysfunctional mess just like the football hiring process was.

Maybe we'll have to put the names of qualified individuals out there so those at LSU responsible for the hire will have a clue on whom to go after..........

Someone tell Alleva to apply. Please.

I'll personally write him a great recommendation.

Or you just weren't paying much attention to that situation and all you saw was Bama hiring new AD.

ADs with the last name Byrne don't bode well for that school's football program.
