All that has happened in the last two days is the ace recruiter lost an important Baton Rouge LB prospect to Alabama and is now on the fence with Myles Brennan. I feel this stage is too big for him, because interim is a completely different role with different pressures. In this league at a school like LSU, you need to have a proven man at the helm. I am concerned about the future of this program because it needs a strong perception and respect. These last ranking reflect that too with us 7 spots away from a mediocre Auburn team and behind Western Michigan. I'm amazed Joe Alleva didn't try to negotiate with Herman and boast how LSU is a better job in terms of more instant success in a premier league of NCAA. Very disappointed. CEO will have to win me over because I'm not sold one bit right now.

Page 46 of the Binder clearly states that any lost recruits are lost because O didn't want them and it's basically Miles fault

Or maybe Brennan wanted to look around because we don't have an OC? Or maybe we offered the hawian guy because kiffin is coming? Or maybe Brennan lost interest? Or maybe Brennan was a Cameron guy and O wasnt fond of him. My point is, a thousand things could have happened, let it all play out first

I've learned Miles was a horrible recruiter recently.

You must not follow recruiting very much. Any time there's coaching turnover - regardless of school or coach - there's an impact on recruiting. What's happening is nothing new.

Be patient. He'll put together a stellar class.

Feel free to dislike the Coach O hire all you want. Completely fair. But citing the past 3 days of recruiting news as the reason is short sighted and ignorant.

but a major, and i mean MAJOR point that O sold LSU on was that this scenario would not happen

What scenario? I promise you he didn't sell them on the fact that no one would decommit.

Brennan was all LSU until Coach O started in his "dual threat qb" spill on Saturday. Combine that with the cold shoulder he has received from Coach O or anyone at LSU this week, and he sees that he doesn't fit in LSU's plans.

He should've hired someone that has successfully ran an offense, defense or program. Ed Orgeron is not some household name in cfb.Recruits and the recruit's parents like continuity and stability .they want to feel they are sending their kid to a place where the coach will actually be around in 3 years. Alleva hired a 55 year old dline coach that has never had success above position coach. Its pretty pathetic.

So with all the "great" Quarterbacks miles and Cameron recruited to LSU, we should trust that this kid was a born stud instead of possibly not fitting into LSU's future offensive plans? Makes no sense. Cameron and Miles were horrible at iding talented QBs. Maybe Brennan isn't as talented? I wouldn't rush to throw O under the bus when Miles and Cameron's track record of the QBS they've offered to come here have turned out absolutely shitastic. Give the guy a damn chance.

It's 1 guy. Good lord, you'd think he lost the whole class. And Brennan didn't even decommit. Pansy arse fans on this board.

No positive on our 2 highest ranked guys, Stevens and the OT reaffirming? Can't have it both ways

Before he got the job: CEO wants a Pro Style offense - Brennan on board

After he got the job: Lane Kiffin coming, new Power Spread Offense on order - Brennan looking around

One of the biggest upsides about O is that it seems like he thinks big--will go for the best players etc-- is willing to completely change this black hole of an offense that has kept LSU multiple Bama wins and possible nattys.

The only reason LSU would be offering this guy is because Kiffin told him to do it.

They can't wait until after the playoffs to do it.

So...
