I doubt we will get Gruden but I by no means think we will settle.

LSU fans seem to be insecure when it comes to UT making a comeback

Why didn't they just go the Arky/OSU route and hire a temp coach?

at the time, there was plenty of reasons to think dooley could be successful. he still may have made it if the team didn't lay down this season. they just don't have the hosses on D. maybe dooley was too honest of a recruiter.

UTk just isnt the job it once was

that's a crock of poo. ut is a damn good job; a destination job. they have the money and resources to get back in the nc hunt. their fanbase is as dedicated and rabid as it comes. what they did was frick up by hiring lane kiffin and then made a mistake hiring dooley. what school has done that? certainly LSU; certainly alabama; certainly notre dame...... the university of tennessee will be back, i guarantee.

And if you think Tennessee still isn't a great program, you're fooling yourself.

No JDM1992, you're not the only Bama fan wanting to see Tennessee get back to doing well. The crap that the OP stated was the same crap opposing SEC fans were saying before We hired Saban. The right hire would see immediate results for Tennessee. They will not stay down long cause there's just too much passion for them to succeed.
