Why hasn't Rob Ryan been linked to any job openings in the NFL

Seems like with the turnaround of the Saints defense, an NFL team would give him a look.

Some guys are born to be Coordinators only. The head spot is not for them.

Well he has had the defense turned around for 1 year. He has been a so-so coordinator for so long before this year that he will need more success to sniff a HC position.

IMO he has probably let be known that he has no interest in being a HC. I say that because I literally have never heard his name even hinted at being a candidate for any Head coaching job at all.

Guy seems like a bit of a loose cannon. I probably wouldn't want him to be the head of my team if I were an owner.
