There will be no changes at LSU unless assistants get another job somewhere.

We need the Fark Board to actually craft a BP signal, if they haven't already...

Btw, 4 years in a row we've wanted coaching changes of some kind. I love the high expectations.

Simple, profound, and exactly what we want.

We want Gary Crowton to find another job..

he "missed" a lot last year

his whole reputation was built on saying miles wasn't thinking of leaving in 2007, which is in doubt from other sources

Missed or not, I'd like to know what he is hearing. Especially regarding Les and the Colorado job. Scike is usually behind the 8 ball on this stuff

If he really is someone inside LSU Athletics he needs to be run out of department, people that work in athletics understand that statement. I seriously doubt he is.

He didn't miss because he never said Crowton was definitely gone. BP thought Crowton would be gone but he said at the time that nothing was official or 100%.

He also correctly predicted the Chavis hire. He also has the blessing of Chicken who knows who he is.

BP is still a reliable source and I, for one, hope he is on this board a lot.

Gotta agree here.

He also confirmed that nobody was being "interviewed", even though all other 'sources' were reporting otherwise.

And the Orgeron fiasco.

Exactly, BelowPar never said Crowton was gone, only that there were potential feelers out to check interest. And if the rumor that Miles wanted Crowton gone but the BOT was against it (the buyout stuff), then it makes perfect sense.

Yep, BP has been very solid on info.

I agree with others though. I think Crowton is gone, but will not be fired. He will 'find another job'.

belowpar is not in the athletic dept per say. However there are others on this site who work in the athletic department that post.

So he says the only thing that would cover Miles' arse in the Crowton fiasco? Really?

Kind of funny how belowpar's updates always painted a defense for Miles.

"Miles was willing to get rid of Crowton, but the AD and TAF said they won't let him because they won't pay the buyout."

How freaking convenient.

When's the man going to show up? Give the detractors and heapers of praise something to stew over!

I really hope Les makes some serious changes in the offensive staff. I don't think I could take another year with this pitiful offense.
