What's taking so long for the NFL dominos to start falling?

Granted I understand there may be a few candidates in the playoffs but no team has grabbed "their guy" yet!!!

I wish Saban would leave for the NFL again. The meltdown with the Gumps would be hilarious!

Everyone is interviewing the same candidates and most of them are in the playoffs so that complicates things
I think Doug Marrone will be the first hire and it'll be within the next few days and it'll be to the Jets.
Also a lot of the openings also fired their GM so they will likely hire a GM before they hire a coach
NFL isn't like college where you have to worry about recruiting. There's no real rush to hire somebody

So the jets who need a GM first will be first hire?
A pace and marrone combo makes a lot of sense though saints don't want to lose pace

Bowles will likely get a no this week. Maronne will likely go to the Jets, then things will pick up.
I half expect Rex to the 49ers, maybe later in the week or the week to follow. It just seems like a fit to me.

The melt of all melts would be if he goes to the NFL for a year, can't hack it, then takes over at Tenn. I wonder how long it'd take for Bama to want to get rid of permanent east/west rivals.

A lot of teams have not satisfied the Rooney Rule this year, probably because they're trying to show Bowles that they're serious.
Bowles was a serious contender for the Dolphins and Raiders in '12. This time around he's a lock to get a head coaching job unless he turns everyone down.
He'd look good in Raider gear, IMO...
