Huge for UK. Marrow with Stoops is the reason for the Ohio (Youngstown pipeline) recruits making way to Lexington.LINK /

Congrats UK

Michigan fans are mad though

From their 247 board -

quote:

I just don't like anyone telling us no. I imagine Harbaugh is currently throwing chairs.

Ugh. Schedule Kentucky and target their tight ends all game.

Their hero and savior doesn't get his way and they act like children

Damn. He must really like working for Stoops. I imagine Harbaugh would be tough to work with.

All they've done is hired Harbaugh and now they're already acting as entitled as Bama fans.

Vince played for Mark's father at Cardinal Mooney. Stoops gave Vince his first gig as a coach.

I too can copy and paste some random quotes to paint a picture about our fan base

quote:

Poop

quote:

Still really thought Marrow could make our recruiting staff one of the best in the entire country. Dismissing it as not a big deal is not fair in my opinion.

quote:

Obviously, this means that Harbaugh can't close TE coaches when competing against the SEC.

This is disappointing, but I trust Harbaugh.

Though disappointing, I admire a man who puts love of a certain location/school in front of money and prestige. Congratulations on keeping him, UK fans.

Big win for UK though. I was getting excited because he seems like a great recruiter, and would have been a great addition.

He is very loyal. I also think Mark Stoops is as loyal. Future is bright for us…I see Harbaugh bring UM back quick. Good luck.

Think about Marrow's pitch to the kids in Ohio…he has a ton of connections in the state….he tells the kids play in the SEC and be close to home. It seems to be working.

This has nothing to do with playing SEC. Some coaches are just better at selling dreams to young kids. For example, Ron Zook. He recruited very well when he was in Illinois.

I am a Michigan fan. But those 4/5 star players and their parents who committed to Brady Hoke last year are just STUPID. It was so obvious Brady Hoke not a good coach.

just like head coach hiring, a lot of assistant coaches will throw their name in the ring, so they can get a big raise.

have you ever heard the strength coach at standford and what he did in standford? i never heard that name before. but now you at least have read some articles about the tower of standford is built by him.

yeah. even if he works for a crapy school, he still can sell the concept to the 18 years old.

when zook was in florida, he recuited well. he went to ill, he recuited well too. some people are just better dream salesman.

Kids aren't really jumping at the opportunity to play in the B1G these days. Sorry but that's a fact.
