Told a lady friend of mine that if Fedora gets the Ole Miss job Southern Miss will offer her husband the USM job and he would jump on it...

Ole Miss is so stuck up their own arse that they wouldn't offer Fedora the job. They wouldn't admit that USM has something that they want.

I think the UAB loss is going to cost Fedora a job this time around. How do you manage to lose to a team like that? UAB lost to Tulane 49-10. USM will end up 10-2 but losses like that are hard to explain.

On the other hand, Ole Miss is not in a favorable position and will have to "settle" with their choice. What coach in any type of position of power would want to come to the same division with LSU, Bama, and Arky? Anyone in their right mind would be running the other way.

You really think Mark Hudspeth's wife is walking around telling people that he's going to jump all over jobs?

The non-delusional ULL fans (although there are few) understand that it's just coach speak when Hudspeth says stuff like "me and the wife really love Lafayette."

You are fooled into believing that he isn't chomping at the bit for the first bigger/better job he can get. And yes that means Southern Miss too. He doesn't love Lafayette that much.

What? Sabam already had a big time job. That UAB team was decent. Totally different situations.

I think Hudspeth should hold out. Southern Miss isn't that big of a jump from where he is now. If he can have one more successful year at UL-L he can probably get a job at an AQ school.

Well if that's what he wants then God Bless him!
I think he has a shot the Ole Mess gig right now or Moo State next year.

For 2 million dollars alot of coaches would come.
