Good for Tech and a pretty smart move on his part.
Tech is set up to have a real good season next year. If they do he will be offered a much better job than Houston.

With next seasons schedule it's possible Tech can get 10-11 wins & another reason I'm glad Sonny isn't going to Houston is the Bulldogs have a rematch with them in September

He changed the culture of the athletics department and made it more 'big time' in its structure (corporate sponsorships, advertising, branding, etc). However, that kind of stuff didn't really translate to the field. He's a pretty shitty football coach. Great AD.

Dykes was a big up grade over Dooley.
