Saban rumors- the latest

Several interesting rumors floating around.
9 mil to Texas. Signed contract day before auburn game.
Now I think this is completely bullshite. But there are several interesting points
1. Why would Terry Saban say what she did! even though I think it was a slip of the tongue. If you are gone, you might want to get off your chest just how you feel.
2. Why haven't Saban and Battle announced a new long term contract like A&M did with Sumlin. This would have put all these rumors to bed.
3. Saban coached against auburn like his heart and soul were not in it. Just saying.
4. Saban looked more relaxed on Gameday and was wearing tie colors of Texas. He could have stated publicly I am getting ready to sign new deal and I am ending all this doubt. Did did not do that.
5. If it's going to happen, it will be soon, before the college awards so no embarrassing moment for Saban or Mack.
Now, I don't think any of this is going to happen, but if it does, I. have gone from being totally skeptical to it being slightly plausible.
I hope coach stays. If not, thank you for the memories and so long.

I don't know about the rumors, but Saban shocked the hell out of me with his "sexy" quote. Seemed really out of character.

He wants a bidding war between the two. The highest bidder gets the prize. Saban has a big ego. He has to know he is the best ever. I bet he doesn't even like the "Bear".

I'm not flaming here, but I remember when all of those same rumors were floating around while he was here at LSU. We didn't believe any of it either, until we saw him behind a podium in Miami.

If Saban has such a big ego, he would care how we is perceived. He wouldn't want to say "I absolutely am not going to Texas. They have a coach." and then immediately go to Texas. That would make him a snake-tongued liar. Which he is not.
