Is NOT leaving State-he loves it there. He and his wife have no plans to leave-according to Dan himself!!!

He won't leave because he's not a good enough coach to get a bigger job. When he learns to call plays in pressure games like he does in non-pressure games, then he will be considered.

The Mississippi State job is a lot like the Michigan State job. It's a pit stop to a bigger job because State will always be State and Sparty will always be Sparty.

He better leave now. They won't win 6 games next year with all they lose. And then he'll be stuck there forever.......let that part sink in.

I don't care either way. But if that is what he said "they have no plans to leave" thats not exactly a commitment. He might stay there 20 years but "no plans" means he is at least leaving the door open.
