So what other DCs need a raise? Let's interview them.

thanks again for being totally worthless, Alleva. great work signing a defensive staff but not a defensive coordinator.

Joe Alleva is a man of integrity. He won't get yanked around by any coach. Helen Keller's corpse would be hired for $1 before any decent coach gets a raise out of him.

Thats a huge assumption.

Its possible LSU offered 1.2 mil to him and Penn St offered him a raise to 900K, and he took that instead.

Yea. Nobody knows shite.

He's from that area. Always said that was a dream job. I think he used the interview for more money and got it.

He won. Congrats to him.

We should offer their OC a million to be our QB coach or something, just to see if we can get them to double his salary too.

Then we offer 1.5. We arent in a position now to screw around. Frickin Alleva. Ive said it for years the guy is worthless. All the people calling for Miles heads are jackasses because wed have that waste of space doing the hiring. How anyone thinks hed find a competent replacement is beyond me.

Then we should have offered him 1.8 million. Perception is reality, and right now, our's is in the shitter.

So, you are pissed we don't offer to become the staff with the most money allocated to their assistant coaches? You realize that's a bit of a huge expectation?

Why can't our head coach handle some of the duties like other head coaches?

If he has to be surrounded by an allstar staff, then maybe he isn't that good.

i guess he just assumed that chavis would sign, and its not as if alleva has ever jumped the gun as an AD and acted on his assumptions and then had it come back and completely frick over one of his teams before.

so, you know, it was an honest mistake
