Yep. Van Gorder was among Richt's original staffers. Left in 2005 to coach LB's @ Jax, then HC @ Ga. Southern. Now he's the DC with the Falcons. I doubt he comes back to UGA. I've heard that there was a rift between he and Rodney Garner. Supposedly Garner told Richt that one of us has to leave.

People like to bitch about Saban's lack of loyalty but this guy's ten times worse. He agreed to a deal in principle to be the Defensive Coordinator for the Gamecocks after Spurrier let go Tyrone Tyrone Nix. A month later, he was hired by the Falcons to be their DC.
