Weber State has chosen Utah assistant Jay Hill as its new head football coach.

Hill has been at Utah for the past 13 years. He spent the first four years as a graduate and administrative assistant under Urban Meyer and Ron McBride. He was a full-time assistant the last nine years, working as the special teams coordinator.

No NY scuttlebutt is that Coughlin has another year but Asst Coaches will be canned. Gilbride esp.

Coughlin deserves one more year.

Although that guy is wound up so tight, he looks like he is about to explode every time the camera is on him. Those type of coaches just wear on players.
