Strong needs to be swapped out for Petersen in the legit group.

I'll update as news flows and the "liquid situation" changes.

If Louisville wins the BE this year as expected then Strong will be the hottest name out there when the coaching search season opens up. He would be a stellar hire for us.

Not a bad list, but I wouldn't want this guy anywhere near Arky if I were a fan...

Why? He's one of the better coaches in CFB.

He has off the field baggage. They just got rid of Petrino for that.

No way. Strong is one of the best recruiters in the country and a hell of a defensive mind. Get a good offensive coordinator in place and he might actually be able to build off Petrino's success instead of the inevitable decline most are expecting.

Have you not read anything about him? He's a boozed up poon hound. A real wildcard and livewire. NOT what tBEACON is all about.

Skip Holtz.

ehhh, do not want

James Franklin.
Art Briles.

Yes! and Yes! I'd be happy with either. Briles would appease the boosters the most and Franklin would bring the energy and attitude that we'd eat up but the ol' tar brush may work against him. Old people here are very old in their thinking and money giving ways.

Mario Cristobal.

Don't know enough about him really. Will investigate.

Charlie Strong.

He's auditioning for lots of jobs this fall.

Drunk coaches can be a pain in the arse and try to ruin your program.

Drinking, a little too much...

While one incident could be overlooked as an offseason mistake, the Huntington Herald-Dispatch is reporting that Holgorsen, West Virginia's offensive coordinator and head coach-in-waiting, has been involved in six -- yeah, six -- alcohol-related incidents in the past six months

Definitely not the type of guy needed at Arky right now.

Skip Holtz would be a good hire for multiple reasons. He brings a really good coaching staff with him as well. Not to mention his ties in Florida with recruiting, etc.

Nope, go to HV look at the 600 page "All things Gruden - Merged" thread.

The Armani Ronnie tier is for our prayers to be answered and his donation buckets to be filled.

Gruden is a prayer at this point.

I really hope we take a look at Mike London as well. He is another guy that looks like we is going to have a bright future but he might be tough to pry out of Virginia.
