No excuse for Arkansas not having named a coach by now

Im not an Arkansas fan, but If I was I would be PISSED.
Petrino was fired months ago, you should have at least had a list ready to call after the LSU game ended. I know you guys wanted Gruden, but it was a pipe dream. Then Les Miles' agent used Jeff Long to get a raise. The Petersen/Patterson talk is just that IMO. Gundy seems to be flirting with everybody to get him a fat raise from T-Boone as well.
What is the timetable on when we will see a new head hawg.

10 days ago the AD said he would announce the coach within the next 10-14 days

Season ended last saturday...it's tuesday, we're actually falling right into the stated time line by our AD.

Long said the new coach would be announced in 10-14 last saturday. Today is the first day of that timeline. So, mind you own GD business!

No doubt it's been frustrating. Jeff Long told players in a meeting after the LSU game that they would have a new coach in place within 10 to 14 days. Today is day 10. FWIW, each day that passes without a coach being named at this point is cause for concern, imo.

They offered Miles, were shot down, now to save face, similar to Michigan several years ago(twice), claim it never happened, and was a smokescreen.

Could have had Mullen back in April. Long didn't want a coach that can't beat a girls bb coach in his team's superbowl. We've had our man. We're just hammering out the details and letting you guys look like DA's when we go deep and circlethe bases....slowly, with one wing down, hat backwards and our d$%ks hanging out!

Bundy GFY. The season hasn't even been over for 72 hours.
At tBeacon, we follow established rules of decorum. We have respect for our peers and do not interfere with a coach's season. Only after the season is complete, would a bonafide program even consider interviewing or offering a coach.
