That's what I'm afraid of.

That was the exactly what I expect from ESPN. Points so obvious, a retard could make them.

He's also probably not been fully appreciated by the LSU fans when you consider the success he's had. Part of that has been self-inflicted with the Ole Miss debacle two years ago and the near-debacle this season against Tennessee.

While I don't disagree with this, I'm getting pretty damn sick and tired of hearing sports media talking heads say this like they're implicitly scolding LSU fans. Most of the same guys doing this are also the guys that took shots themselves at every opportunity, as if they are somehow able to reserve impunity only for their precious little selves.

It may be true that there fewer than 5 coaches better suited to coach LSU than Miles (although I believe there are more). But LSU is one of 5 or 6 programs in the country that can GET one of those coaches. Example, Patterson @ TCU. Can LSU buy out that big new contract of his? Sure. Will they? That depends on how badly they want one of those ~5 coaches.

It amazes me how the media comes up with the "hot seat coaches" and then when said coach is back on top, its all those crazy temperamental fans.

If Michigan gives Les as much time to turn things around as they gave Rich Rod, Miles may be the one reminiscing about the good ole days. Just sayin.'
