Arkansas state fans seem to love them some Kingsbury and want him as their new HC. Does a guy that young really stand a shot of moving the ladder this quickly?

Any chance his middle name starts with a K?

He'll stay at A&M until Johnny leaves and then become the HC at Tech.

I don't think he'll stay that long.

If he stays on current trajectory, he will get a better job than Tech. And yes I know its where he went to school.

I agree he will get better job than tech.

If he wants to stay in SEC he should consider Southern Miss. Good program to build solid recruiting ties. They are a dumpster fire right now who can only go up.

The last two Arkansas State coaches have been hired by SEC schools. Seems like going coach at ASU is good for one's career.

I bet if Mack Brown gets 3 more years (which is possible) that he is in the talk for the UT job. I mean he has no connection other than coaching for A&M don't see why not

I talked to him in person at the MMQB Club banquet in BHam. He said he plans to coach JFF as long as he can. Suspect he will jump ship after that.

He's 33 there are some HC's who got their start that young.

Dan Mullen was only 36 when he landed an SEC job.

Well that settles it, you talked to him. I was wondering if you would, and we all know coaches like to share the immediate career plans with random fans. Good work Colombo.

I know one A-State recruit that would love to see Kingsbury hired. Not sayin it will happen but I'd like it.
