In addition to his salary, he negotiated an annuity in his 2009 contract if he hung around 5 years. That kicked in this January 1 , and it's worth $800,000.
He's not going anywhere.

Some programs that have strong head coaches don't have to pay millions to get decent assistants.

No those universities just dont have the money to spend on good coaches. Nothing wrong with being poor if you work hard.
