I apologize for being negative yesterday about Steele
To be honest I was just feeding off fans perception of Steele early on "no we don't want him". I don't much about him. He has coached for Saban, Bowden, Osborn and Capers to name a few legends in the game...
Apparently he is one heck of recruiter and LB coach and is very respected in the Coaching community. Rivals 2005 recruiter of the year!
Dylan Moses and his father are stoked about this hire... hmmmmm
With the addition of Coach O, we just got better closing the deal on top recruits.
New energy is now back in the program...

I am very happy this morning . Steele is a solid hire. All this "West Va put up 70" on Clemson ( years ago) and " he got 'demoted' " is so much irrelevant bunk. TD posters are/can be like pack lemmings sometimes. Steele great recruiter ( players are name of the game), has learned under the best HCs, and will be a great fit at LSU. I just do not understand the "emphasize the negative paranoia sky is falling" predisposition of a lot of TD posters. And don't give me that I-need-a-reality-check BS. I got a friggin' reality view already... Add in Coach Orgeron , and I think CLM has given the program exactly what it needed ... to repeat , I'm very happy. Looking forward to NSD ...

He's a terrible defensive coordinator.
Coach O will improve our talent and DL, but I am still royally pissed off at this DC hire.
We could have had a good tactician and hired Ed O to recruit and been way better off.
