I know his name was mentioned for cal and colorado but i dont think he was interviewed, his first year at fresno state was an incredible turnaround from 4-9 to 9-3 (urban meyer like) The guy has recruiting experience in texas and cali now. He had outstanding defenses at airforce and his 2010 aggie turnaround was awesome and even in 2011 his defense played great in the first half of games till the aggie offense and poor conditioning took over and hurt that defense, not to mention a&ms secondary wasn't really that talented in a pass happy league.

He was my first choice for UK, but I'm also happy with Stoops. I wanted a defensive guy and either one of them works for me. But I agree, surprised he didn't get a more high profile offer.

If he chose Colorado, I suspect he got no other calls, not from WKU, La Tech, nobody.... I mean, it's Colorado..
