Throw the fricking bank at Tuberville

Yea, I think Peterson and Franklin.
I was just throwing in Gruden and Carroll because those were some of the first names mentioned as the next coach at Arkansas...by some.

makes a lot of sense. Ark's search shouldn't have gone past the SECCG unless they were hiring Saban or Richt. now the pressure is higher and the candidates are getting weaker. Briles would be a good fit but not Kirby. Ark wins w/ offense. Their talent pool can't staff the defense like Alabama and LSU. it's a tough situation.... but still better than Auburn w/ the NCAA and the Sabanator just down the road.

That no one has sources that posts on the internet.
We already knew this.
had Arky gotten a "yes" from their first, second, or third choice there would have already been a press conference and hog calling.

i wouldn't be surprised if a few of them decided not to leave their current gig but bs on 6- no way i am believing that for a second.

Your post makes no sense, if we were to hire Briles, for example, how was our search not going to extend past the SECCG? He had a game the same day?

Don't worry, you are. Your source is probably laughing with his buddies saying 'look what I got this guy to post on TD.'
So if I end up being correct on this are you going to eat crow?
Look back at my post history on here, hogville, woopig, etc. I have never once made a single post saying I have a "source" or making predictions on anything. I think most people saying stuff are just doing it to get a rise out of people, so I can understand why you would think the same about me. However, this shite doesn't do anything for me. I am just sharing information that is factual for the benefit of others. You can deny it if you want, but it come straight out of the mouth of people in the middle of this. Not some blogger or some media outlet.

He didn't go into details about the names of the 6 but I can think of several off the top of my head.
Miles - this is basically a known fact now
Patterson - we definitely offered him and if he had accepted he would be here right now
Peterson - same
Franklin - just so happened to get a nice raise, probably as a counter to our offer
Pete Carroll - don't know if an offer was extended but it wouldn't surprise me
Gruden - don't know if it ever got past just talking, but an offer might have been on the table
And there are several others being talked about that could have already said no such as Strong, Gundy, etc.

How would you be correct about anything? Your 'sources' would be correct I guess, but they sound full of shite.

I agree, you usually do not post poop. However, there have been possibly hundreds of post just like these. "I never post sources" or "I never knew I had sources" "This is actually legit". What are supposed to believe?

Credibility diminished by even entertaining these.

first four make sense.
carroll and gruden make me think your info is bogus. why in the world would carroll leave the seahawks?

bp's solid. He's not a dickrider like we're accustomed to. Seems plausible and falls right in line w/ my prediction of the BOT forcing Butch Davis on us.
I'm not sure there's been 6 commitable offers on the table, you can have prelim talks and discuss scenarios but I don't think that consitutes an offer.
It's not good news regardless, and it's not anything for us to get our panties twisted over. Unless we can hand deliver an A+ coach ourselves, there's not much we can do but wait and hope.

this is the clay travis crap- seriously if we go by his time frame we offered franklin last week which would have been before patterson and petersen played their last game and we offered franklin before them???? no way, absolutely no way.

They sound "full of shite" because it isn't what you wanted to hear. Whatever. I'm not going to try to convince you of anything. Believe what you want. I don't post shite unless I stand by it. I'm with you, though. I hope these 2 gentleman are just lying so as to "surprise" us or something.

You can believe whatever you want. I don't care. This is what I was told from people who are closely tied to this whole thing.

This is me guessing. I have no idea who said no. This was not shared with me. All I'm saying is that you could definitely find 6 coaches that could have already said no to us out of the ones we have supposedly been talking to over the past few months.
