Yeah we love to make fun of him but the guy can recruit and the way he rallied USC has been impressive. He has the kind of energy LSU thrives on.

Is there a place for him on the LSU staff? How much fun would it be watching him and Les Miles trying to interprit each other?

I bet that would be some intellectual conversation.

Obviously Ed is a great recruiter and would be great to have on board for that purpose but what would he coach?

If USC beats UCLA Ed may well become the next USC head coach if Jack Del Rio stays in Denver

I bet he lays down some mean BBQ. There is a lack of contribution from the grill.

If Stud, Brick, or Ensminger leave for any reason then Ed O can fill anyone of those jobs easily.

I thought Bey-bey hated LSU, after his time here. I don't see him leaving USC. He'd be an awesome addition to the staff, a huge upgrade over Studrawa at O-Line.

Orgeron is psycho. Don't need his help with recruiting. Keep his arse in California.

He is a very good line coach, and would be an upgrade just for his recruiting ability, but I don't think he comes here.

He can coach and he can recruit. But there's no way in hell he can handle the glad-handing of alumni / boosters and general grab-assery required of the HC of a name program.

Square peg, round hole. Needs to stay in Cali with all the other square holes.

I hope that USCw hires him as their HC. Once the rah-rah and meds wear off, they're left with another train wreck. He is successful now because he is a lesser POS than his predecessor. He left Miami, USC (first time), & Tennessee under a shroud of recruiting issues. At Ole Miss he tried to plunder the Tulane roster after Katrina.

LSU doesn't need his kind in the program.

Del Rio has two jobs in mind. One is NFL. One is not USC. Stop with that nonsense.
