He should be. He has been coaching a team with an insane amount of dead money.

That team just needs consistency and time to dig out of salary cap hell. Even if they are below average I think they just need stability. If they don't improve in a few years fine, but at least get on a level playing field before changing everything up yet again.

He'll meat with Little Al next week to discuss his position.

If Raiders fire him, next week, they will get nobody to replace him. Too many desirable open NFL and NCAA openings.

It's like the sky is falling on raiderfan.net message board. Honestly I didn't expect much this season. I think with cap space and a third year this team could make great improvements. The thing fans don't realize is that there isn't a slam dunk hire to Oakland and sometimes the best change isn't with the administration, it's with the players.

I think he should stay. Raiders need some stability on the coaching staff.
