Could Joe Alleva make a decent hire?

I do not think Miles is going any where, however, should he leave, does anyone have any faith that Joe Alleva could make a decent hire?

Alleva would just be the front man.
All the behind the scenes would be handled by TAF and eventually Alleva would be handed a name.

There is not one thing that I can think of that Alleva has done in his career at LSU that gives me confidence he can make a "good" hire.
If Miles leave and Joe makes a good hire, I'll blame it on good luck.

I have zero faith in Alleva to make the right hire..zero
that doesn't mean he can't do it, just means I have no confidence in him

I think he could. Most of the people that hate him, hate all authority figures. Would almost guarantee that you hate your boss too.

You could say that about anybody, though. And he may make what seems like a great hire, and it just doesn't work out. There are no guarantees. Who thought Muschamp would crash and burn?

Nope. They've never had to do this before. Skip handled everything the last time against their wishes. Nobody in TAF wanted Miles
